Rogue Ops Guide

From FaitH

This is just like the other guides, except that I made Datto fill it in instead of doing ot myself.

ShadowCast

Bribe Peons (400 Gold)

If you're a rogue, you have better uses of your number of ops.

Score: 1/10

Spy on Events (300 Gold)

Can sometimes be extremely useful, ie seeing that someone just shipped some items to someone, but typically not worthwile.

Score: 2/10

Reputation disaster (150 Gold)

Seriously, do you use anything to drop morale of someone else as any other class? No? Didn't think so. Don't do it here either.

Score: 0/10

Moma ShadowCast

Spy on military (3000 Gold)

I assume you could use this if you're not sure about attacking someone bigger than you, but I'd rather just get their map.

Score: 2/10

Spy on Internal Affairs (350 Gold)

Do you really care how many peons and gold they have? Just look at wealthiest/most populated province.

Score: 1/10

Spy Well of Knowledge (5500 Gold)

Sure, this might be useful if a KD is really low on kids, but chances are there are other KDs that have plenty which you can steal.

Score: 3/10

Spy for Children of Targar (500 Gold)

Just get a merch to use a poke ball.

Score: 2/10

Spy on Events (350 Gold)

Same as for Shadowcast, it can sometimes reveal really important info.

Score: 2/10

Spy on Chaos Points (5000 Gold)

This could be very useful for advanced players who want to nail their opponents with spells and ops to decrease CP earnings.

Score: 4/10

Headbasher

Bash Peons (50 Gold)

Bash peons kills more peons than bash units kills units, and you get the same CP for killing both. Shouldn't be hard to decide which to do.

Score: 6/10

Bash Units (500 Gold)

Only reason to use Bash Units is if you think it might actually affect the outcome of a war.

Score: 3/10

Set us up the Bomb (1000 Gold)

This one can be devastating to your opponent. Imagine taking out peon housing in a Merchant's province early in the game. You can also easily take out troop buildings. The two that hurt the most are farms and negator buildings. You just have to make sure you've got high luck and put stones toward success of your shadow ops.

Score: 10/10

Bash Reputation (50 Gold)

Seriously... Don't waste your money.

Score: 0/10

Clark, The man of Steal

Steal Gold from the Emporer (250 Gold)

If you want to grow, you can increase your income a lot with this op. Just make sure you use the wealthies province list to decide on targets because it takes a certain percentage (I forget) of their gold, with a max of 5000.

Score: 9/10

Steal Gold from the Peons (250 Gold)

If you can't find any emperor in your PS range who has money and you really need money, then you can resort to this.

Score: 4/10

Steal Item (500 Gold)

This is an excellent op that can nab you some excellent items for your local merchant. This could seriously make the difference between having the number 1 merchant or not.

Score: 10/10

Kidnap Peons (500 Gold)

Keep your PS low, don't bother kidnapping peons. You're not a merchant in need of any.

Score: 1/10

Steal Children of Targar (1000 Gold)

Obviously this can be an excellent op, when it works. You have to put your stones into op success, and I would only use it if I've got nothing else to do. Remember, 1 child is worth 10,000 cp whereas a blown up building is only worth 300. That means you would need 33 successful blown up buildings for every child of targar you steal. Shouldn't be hard to figure out which op has more potential.

Score: 9/10

Monitor trade routes (250 Gold)

Could be good if you're trying to track down items. But it's usually pretty easy to figure out where items are: either on a merchant or a rogue.

Score: 2/10

Monitor Armies (325 Gold)

If you aren't using this or Mass Monitor Armies then you need to quit playing as a rogue.

Score: 10/10

Spy Castle Defense (250 Gold)

Shame, most people don't leave their army in their castle defense.

Score: 1/10

Spy on towers (500 Gold)

This op can help out a lot if a map is too expensive to buy.

Score: 7/10

Mass Monitor Army (2200 Gold)

I love this op. No reason not to do blanket MMAs.

Score: 11/10
