About The Dragon Claw Studio
From FaitH
In winter 1999, in the depths of a dank basement, "it" was born from within the mind of Zackary T CastleFree. Beginning as a personal, even experimental project to develop an online strategy game inspired by Koei's Nobunaga's Ambition, the idea for The Divine Quest started to take form as a game project for PC.
A year of development and brainstorming followed.
In January 2001, The Divine Quest affirmed itself as a web-based massively multiplayer online strategy game.
In summer 2001, Zackary T CastleFree and Melany Pepin joined forces to create the Dragon Claw Studio. That September, the DC crew moved into a real office where the 2 founding members could commit themselves full time to the Studio's game development projects.
In October 2001, The Divine Quest was given the new name of Faith.
From then on, it was tireless work and sleepless nights until February 2002 where FaitH went Alpha and was almost complete.
The rest, as they say, is gaming history...
